SIMPACK Automotive Training

1 day training course
The course starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.

Before undertaking the Automotive training course the user should have completed the SIMPACK Basics training course. It is particularly important that the user understands how the database works, which is explained on the second day of the SIMPACK Basics training course.

The SIMPACK Automotive training course explains how to set up vehicle models using SIMPACK's automotive data base, how to add user models to the database and introduces the automotive elements in SIMPACK such as tyres, roads, steering controllers, etc.
 

• Overview of SIMPACK Automotive Elements
• Overview of Automotive Database (Parameterised Substructures)
• Creation of a parameterised suspension model (kinematic und elasto-kinematic)
• Definition and realisation of a test rig
• Creation of a simple and a complex entire vehicle model from the SIMPACK Automotive Database
• Definition and realisation of an entire vehicle
