SIMPACK FEMBS Training

1,5 day training course
The first day starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.
The second day starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.

Before undertaking the FEMBS the user should have completed the SIMPACK BASICS training course. The FEMBS training explains how to import FE models to take into consideration structural elasticity in SIMPACK.

  • Introduction to the Dynamics of Elastic Bodies
  • Theory behind the FE-MBS-Interface program FEMBS
    a) Modal Transformation
    b) Eigenmodes, static Modes and " Frequency Response Modes"
  • Guyan-Reduction, Master-Degrees of Freedom
  • Geometric Stiffness
  • Geometric Non-linearities
  • Contact on Elastic Bodies

Prices for 2010: 470,-/day + VAT (prices for students: 240,-/day + VAT)
