SIMPACK Rail Training

2 day training course
The course starts on both days at 9 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.

Before undertaking the Rail training course the user should have completed the SIMPACK Basics training course.

The SIMPACK Rail training explains how to use the modelling elements for the contact between wheel and rail and the set-up of entire vehicle models and their most important analysis types. In addition railway specific elements are introduced such as tracks, irregularities, wheel and rail profiles, suspension elements etc.

The course uses mainly the classic SIMPACK Rail. An additional short introduction into the New SIMPACK Rail with redesigned rail-to-wheel contact functionality and user interface is also possible upon request.
