SIMPACK Scripting Training
The Scripting training is no longer offered; instead, a tutorial is now available. Please contact your local distributor for more information.
Before working through the scripting tutorial, users should have completed the SIMPACK Basics training course.
It is particularly important that the user understands how the SIMPACK GUI and PostProcessor work. These are explained in the SIMPACK Basics training course. Previous experience with object-oriented programming is advantageous.
By using the SIMPACK scripting language QSA, users can extend the SIMPACK PostProcessor with their own functionalities. This includes automation of plot configurations, self-defined import/export filters, and setting up simple graphical user interfaces (GUIs) from users’ own scripts.
The following is covered by the tutorial:
- Object Oriented Programming Basics
- SIMPACK Scripting Interface (SSI) Concepts
- SIMPACK GUI Scripting Integration
- Creation of Customized GUIs
- Writing Data Import/Export Plugins
- Running External Processes
- File I/O from Scripts
- Script Batch Execution
For our scripting tutorial or individual training please contact your local distributor.
